University of San Diego | Epsilon Gamma Chapter
LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Marti Fromm
HELLOO SISTAS !
My name is Marti Fromm and I am the 2021 Chapter President for Epsilon Gamma. This role is an honor and a privilege, and I’m so grateful to be able to give back to the women who gave me the most important gift I’ve ever received—self-confidence.
In high school, I was surrounded by an amazing group of friends who were all very sure of themselves and knew what they wanted out of life. But for some reason, I was always full of self-doubt and uncertainty over what my future would hold. I didn’t believe I had what it takes to be a strong-willed leader and write my own destiny. That was until I joined Gphi.
When I walked through the double doors on the first day of recruitment, I knew that these were the women I wanted to experience my college years with. I knew they would be the bridesmaids in my wedding, and I knew that they would push me to be the best version of myself and shape me into the woman I always wanted to be.
Through the women who came before me, I have learned the importance of accountability. Through the constant words of encouragement from sisters, I have learned the importance of confidence and drive. Through this role, I have learned the importance of showing up for the people you hold close and striving for your best every day. And through the life-long friends I’ve made, I’ve learned the importance of love.
Without the women I’ve met in Gphi, I absolutely would not be who I am today. I know that even after our college years, these women will continue to motivate me to be the best version of me I can be every day. And I couldn’t dream of a more amazing group to share that experience with.
I’m still unsure of what my future will hold, but I’m certain the women of Epsilon Gamma will be a part of it. All of it.
All my love in IIKE,
Marti
